Hi guys,
sorry for my English, I can't speak French yet. I am 39 years old and will be moving to Belgium soon and I'd like to get in touch with other vegans in Belgium: I need practical hints on chosing vegan and not tested toiletries for instance. At the moment I am up in Namur for few days a months, usually weekends but will move to Bruxelles in September.

I forgot: I have been vegan for 14 years (I was vegetarian before) and will move to Brx to study architecture and also because my boyfriend is Belgian. :)

I am Italian but I have lived in London for a long time, 7 years ago I cameb back to Italy and God that was a mistake!
You guys all speak a very good Englilsh! I wish my French or Flemish was as good as your English! :)

I love Belgium, I always say it's Europe's best kept secret, and it should remain this way! :)
I absolutely love Bruxelels and Antwerp! My 2 fav cities I can easily say. You Belgian rock! I am looking forward to move up there permanently, I like your social system not as messy as the Italian one. :)

I became vegetarian when I was 16 (I am 39 now....:) becasue I heard my fav singer Robert Smith of The Cure was vegetarian and I was curious. Than 14 years ago I did the transition into veganism and I haven't regretted once in my life! My boyfriend still eats meat but I think he's cutting since we've been together, I hope he'll become at least vegetarian one day.

hey guys, can you help me by suggesting me what brands of toiletries are vegan and not tested in Belgium? I can manage with food, but the difficult bit is tioletries: is there an official standard which approves products not tested on animals like the BUAV in Britain or Vivo and Lav in Italy?

For the toiletries you will find easily some products like Weleda, Lavera and Logona I think (and some others of course)

I use Weleda for my toothpaste for example.

You just have to go in a bioshop and sometimes in shops like Di too (they have a hennea shampoo non tested!)
